Jacoby JaJuan Brissett is an NFL quarterback for the New England Patriots as of November 2024. Brissett was selected as the 91st overall pick in the third round of the 2016 NFL draft by the New England Patriots. Brissett had initially signed a four-year contract with the Patriots. However, he suffered numerous injuries throughout his Rookie season. His team won the Super Bowl in 2016 but he was unable to participate in the game. Brissett was traded to the Indianapolis Colts in 2017 and was their primary starter in the 2017 and 2019 seasons. He has spent his NFL career as a reserve quarterback or starter, playing for many teams throughout eight years. In 2023, Brissett scored three passing touchdowns for 224 yards for the Washington Commanders. He played three games for the Commanders.

During his collegiate career, Brissett played for the Florida Gators and the NC State Wolfpack football teams. He played for the Gators from 2011-2012 before transferring to NC State. He played with the team from 2014 to 2015, sitting out the 2013 season because of transfer rules. Jacoby Brissett scored 46 touchdowns and 15 interceptions over 5723 yards of passing in total throughout his college career.
