Matthew Judon is a professional American football linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL, as of 2024. The Baltimore Ravens drafted Judon with the 146th pick in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL draft. Judon recorded 27 tackles in 14 games during his rookie season. In 2017, Judon played 16 games and concluded the season with 61 tackles and two forced fumbles. In the following three seasons with the Ravens, Judon recorded a total of 148 tackles. In 2021, Judon signed with the New England Patriots. According to his teammates, he was 52nd on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2022. Judon was placed on the injured reserve during the 2023 season. In 2024, Judon was traded to the Atlanta Falcons for a third-round selection in 2025.

Judon played collegiate football at Grand Valley State University. At GVSU, Judon redshirted through the 2010 season. During the 2011 season, Judon recorded 14 tackles. Judon started eight games in 2012 and concluded the season with 37 tackles and a forced fumble. In 2013, Judon suffered a knee injury during the seventh game, forcing him out of the remaining games. The following season, Judon was named to the First-Team All-GLIAC, Daktronics Super Region 4 First-Team and was also named the GVSU Defensive Lineman of the Year after hauling 72 tackles. Judon played high school football at West Bloomfield High School prior to playing collegiate football. At West Bloomfield, Judon recorded a total of six sacks and 89 tackles.
