Isaiah Avery "Zay" Jones is an American football wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals as of the 2024 NFL season. The Buffalo Bills selected him with the 37th overall pick in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Jones had a very productive collegiate career for himself where he broke the FBS all-time record in receptions. His 399 receptions in NCAA FBS history still stands to this day.
Jones was traded by Buffalo to the Raiders during the 2019 midseason. His two and half year stint with the Silver and Black saw him accumulate 847 yards with the majority of them coming in 2021. Jacksonville scooped him as a free agent in 2022 and inked a 3-year deal with the team. Jones enjoyed a career year with 82 receptions and 823 receiving yards in 2022. However, the following year saw his production drop by more than half with the Jaguars. Leg and knee injuries were to blame for his poor 2023 season where he missed eight games. After getting cut by the Jaguars in April 2024, he signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals for the upcoming 2024 season.
