Team India and Pakistan are clashing in the 12th match of the 2023 World Cup this afternoon at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Former Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri was the presenter at the toss for the game.
Shastri did a great job hyping the game with his usual enthusiastic and high-pitched voice. India and Pakistan captains Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam were amused by his antics at the toss and shared a hearty laugh during the toss.

Speaking after winning the toss, Team India captain Rohit Sharma opened up about the atmosphere at the stadium and expressed excitement for the match. He felt that the dew might come in later in the game in the second innings, which influenced the decision to opt for bowling first.
Rohit said:
"It cannot get bigger than this! It is a fantastic atmosphere. Such a wonderful crowd and it should be really special! It looks a good pitch, dew can come into play later on as well and so, we prefer chasing here. We have a lot of boxes ticked, but every game is a fresh game and we are taking this game accordingly. Keeping ourselves relaxed is really important, there are some characters who help the mood to be light in the camp.
