Marco Reus is the only Borussia Dortmund player to have a release clause

Borussia Dortmund have revealed that Arsenal and Manchester United target, Marco Reus does have a release clause and is the only player at the club to do so.

Barcelona and PSG have also been linked with a move for Reus, and despite Dortmund’s protestations that the player is not for sale, reports suggest that a fee of £30m would be enough to trigger the clause.

Dortmund executive Hans-Joachim Watzke told SPORT1media: “Marco Reus possesses a release clause option in his current contract at our club.

“He could leave our club due to that.

“He is, however, the only player in our first-team squad that has such a contract clause.”

Reus’ current contract with Dortmund expires in 2017, but it is believed that the club is trying to get the player to sign an extension in order to get rid of the release clause.
