Shillong Lajong FC is all set to host Goan side Sporting Clube de Goa in a 3rd round match of the 2013/14 I-League at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong on Saturday afternoon at 3.30pm.
Lajong FC have made a good start to their 2013/14 campaign, winning the first match away to Dempo SC in Goa 3-0 and playing out a goalless draw against a strong Pune FC side at home last weekend.
The Reds, though will be seeking to claim their first-ever victory over the Flaming Oranje, having never beaten the Goan outfit in their previous encounters in all competitions.
Sporting Clube de Goa, led by Spanish coach Oscar Bruzon, on the other hand are seeking their first win of the season, having drawn their opener against Mumbai FC and losing their last match against United SC.
Oscar Bruzon has made it known that he will be ringing in changes in the Sporting Goa line-up tomorrow and he is confident that his team will stand up to the Reds’ challenge.
The match certainly promises to be a lively one, as the Reds take on the Flaming Oranje in a high octane encounter with kick-off being at 3.30pm.
