Manchester United 2015-16 kit leaked?

Adidas

Manchester United will have a new kit sponsor from the 2015-16 season onwards having penned a new £750m deal with Adidas for the 10 years. As usual, there has been a host of speculation around what the kit might look like and it has been accompanied by the traditional array of fake pictures and kit designs being passed around on social media.

However, as reported by Manchester Evening News, the newest kit with the trademark Adidas three stripes looks the most credible of all so far. Further, the away kit seems to have watermarked a reference to the 1992 away kit worn by Manchester United in the League Cup final, giving further credibility to this leak.

The launch of the latest kit will mark the end of a 13-year association between Manchester United and Nike. Their contract with the Manchester side runs till the end of July and hence United will most probably not be able to wear their new kits till August, explaining the delayed launch.

This will be Adidas’ second stint with Manchester United, previously having associated with the club between 1980 to 1992.
