Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has denied interest in Manchester United stopper David de Gea. The goalkeeper’s future has been a topic of speculation, but Ancelotti’s comments will be welcomed with smiles by Man Utd fans.

De Gea, 24, has established himself as one of the best young keepers in the world after a brilliant season with the English club, which has seen him gain nominations for the Premier League Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year.

Ancelotti, however, revealed that he is happy with his current No. 1 Iker Casillas.

“I see myself here next season with Casillas.” Ancelotti said according to reports.

He also added, “The three best goalkeepers in the world are at Real Madrid and we have never spoken about signing a goalkeeper.”

De Gea moved the Manchester club back in 2011 for a hefty fee of £17.8 million – a British record fee for a goalkeeper, has only one year to go on his contract.

The Spaniard’s team face league leaders Chelsea in a crucial Premier League clash this Saturday.
