Injured Mohammad Fakhreddine pulls off BRAVE Main Event

Brave Combat Federation announced that Mohammad Fakhreddine had to withdraw from his scheduled fight against Thiago Vieira at Brave 1, on September 23rd, in Bahrain. Fakhreddine is one of the most popular mixed martial artists from the Middle East with a record of 7-1-0. The Middle Eastern superstar, Mohammad “The Latest” Fakhreddine, is from Lebanon and has been a force in the Middle Eastern promotion – Desert Force.

He suffered an undisclosed injury during his training camp and will not be able to compete in the main event of the first Brave Combat Federation. Brave is currently working to find a new opponent for the Brazilian Thiago Vieira, who will still feature on the card against a different rival. In addition, Brave also announced that the September 23rd event will now have a new main event. Previously fighting at the co-main event of the evening, long time rivals Abdul Kareem Al Selwady and Rami Aziz will now headline the card.

Abdul Kareem Al Selwady and Rami Aziz are considered to be the top featherweight in the Middle East. The Jordanian Selwady will finally settle the differences with his long-time rival Aziz in a bout that is already being labeled as a modern classic.
