Ryan is an NHL reporter at Sportskeeda who has been interested in writing sports stories since the third grade. He eventually worked as a freelance sports journalist in his hometown of New Hampshire. After moving to Canada to continue his career as a Zamboni driver, he returned to writing in 2021.

Since then, he has produced content for The Hockey Writers, Sportsnaut, and Forever Blueshirts. Ryan has an Associate degree and considers hockey history his biggest strength.
