Yamini is a freelance feature Tennis writer at Sportskeeda. She holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication and has interned at several organizations, including The Times of India.

A national-level Tennis player, Yamini forayed into the sport at age seven and clinched multiple medals at CBSE North Zone Tournaments and Interschool competitions. Her representation of Chandigarh in 2013 in numerous AITA matches, along with her journalism diploma meant she was destined to become a Tennis writer.

While she religiously follows the Grand Slams, Yamini holds Indian Wells and the Miami Open in high regard due to their historical significance and the prestigious 'Sunshine Double' status.

Yamini admires Novak Djokovic for his incredible journey from a war-torn country to unparalleled Tennis success but believes that each member of the 'Big Three' deserves the 'GOAT' title.
