The 6-foot 6 shooting guard, Antonio Reeves played college basketball for Illinois State and the Kentucky Wildcats. Born in Chicago, Reeves played until his junior year at Illinois and then transferred to the Wildcats for his senior season.

The freshman at Illinois improved gradually through his sophomore and junior seasons. After a slow start in his freshman year, Reeves went from scoring 7.2 points in his first year to 20.1 points in his junior year. Therefore, he was named the 2021/22 MVC Most Improved Player and earned a spot on the All-MVC team.

After transferring to Kentucky, Reeves played his first season coming off the bench and won the 2022/23 SEC Sixth Man of the Year award. He averaged 14.4 points and shot 39.8% from beyond the arc. Seeing his progress, Reeves was inserted into the starting lineup and set scoring records. He averaged 20.2 points and shot 44.7% from deep on 5.7 attempts per game.

Having a stellar final senior year, Reeves became one of 10 players in history to score 1000 points for two different schools. He also became the third All-American from the Kentucky Wildcats.

His reading of the game and off-ball movements are among his strengths, and his three-level scoring has improved throughout his college years. Subsequently, Reeves uses the threat of his outside shot to counter aggressive defenders. He drives to the basket to score at the rim or with floaters, and can also take sidestep pull-up threes.
