Bryce Alexander McGowens is a professional basketball player who plays shooting guard for the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA and the Rip City Remix in the NBA G League in the 2024-25 season as of December 2024. He began his collegiate basketball career for the Nebraska Cornhuskers men's basketball team, which represents the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he played for the 2021-22 season. McGowens averaged 16.8 points, 1.4 assists, and 5.2 rebounds per game over 31 games during his freshman season. He was named the Third-team All-Big Ten and the Big Ten All-Freshman Team both in 2022. According to his college profile, McGowens during his freshman season set a record for most points in his college debut match with 25 points against Western Illinois. He declared for the 2022 NBA Draft, forgoing his remaining college eligibility on March 21, 2022.

McGowens was selected as the 40th pick in the second round by the Minnesota Timberwolves in that draft and was later traded to the Charlotte Hornets.
