Carlton Carrington is an American college basketball player who is a 2024 NBA prospect. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 21, 2005. He is nicknamed “Bub” which is derived from his father’s name. Carrington’s father is a basketball coach.

Carrington began his basketball journey at Saint Frances Academy, Baltimore. Across his high school career, Carrington accumulated over 2000 points and set a record in the school for having scored over 1000 points in a single season. During his high school career, Carrington received All BCL First Team honours and MVP awards. He also played in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball as a part of Team Melo.

Carrington committed to play collegiate basketball for the Pittsburgh Panthers of the University of Pittsburgh. He quickly made a name for himself in the team and established himself as the Rookie of the Week in two back-to-back weeks. He also is known to have achieved a triple-double in his debut game. Carrington is known for his ability to shoot and score and thrive in pick and roll. After a successful year with the Pittsburgh Panthers, Carrington looks to take his game to the next level at the largest stage of basketball in the NBA.
