Cory Joseph is a Canadian professional basketball player. He was born on August 20th 1991 in Toronto, Canada. Cory is the youngest of his four siblings and he grew up in a basketball family. His parents played basketball for Mount Royal College teams. Cory is recently playing for Golden State Warriors in the NBA.

He joined Pickering High School in Ajax, where he played basketball for the school, and soon he was known as one of the top prospects in Canada.

Later, Cory attended the University of Texas, and he played for only one season. His performance at University made his spot in the All-Big 12 Second Team. He played around 36 games in his freshman year, where he lead the team in scoring times and twice in rebounding.

Soon after the end of his freshman year, Joseph declared himself for the NBA draft.

NBA Career

In the 2011, NBA draft, Cory Joseph was selected by San Antonio Spurs as the 29th overall pick. He played the position of backup point guard for the Spurs. During his third season with the team, they won the NBA championship in 2014. Also, in the meantime, he learned a lot from the experienced players in the team.

After leaving Spurs in 2015, Cory Joseph played for Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, Detroit Pistons and now with Golden State Warriors. Throughout his NBA career, Joseph has proven to be a reliable and versatile guard, contributing both offensively and defensively.
