Grant Dean Williams is a basketball player who plays for the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA as of October 2024. He played high school basketball at Providence Day School in Charlotte, where he averaged 18 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game as a junior. He played college basketball at the University of Tennessee–Knoxville from 2016 to 2019. In college, he was named SEC Player of the Year for two consecutive seasons, 2018 and 2019, for his outstanding performance with the Tennessee Volunteers.

Williams was drafted 22nd overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2019 NBA Draft. Williams made his professional debut on October 23, 2019, against the Philadelphia 76ers, coming off the bench. As a rookie with the Celtics in the 2019-20 season, he averaged 3.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game. He played four full seasons with the Boston Celtics before being traded to the Dallas Mavericks and then subsequently to the Charlotte Hornets.
