Grayson Allen is an American shooting guard who plays for the Phoenix Suns in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born October 8, 1995, in Jacksonville, Florida, U.S, Allen attended Providence School in Jacksonville, where he won the state championship in 2013 and was selected as a McDonald's All-American the following season.

For college, Allen committed to Duke and played there for four seasons. He averaged 4.4 points per game as a freshman and helped his team win the NCAA championship in 2015.

In his sophomore season, Allen developed into one of the best offensive players in the ACC, averaging 21.6 points per game. Overall in his Duke career, Allen averaged 14.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 142 games. He finished with 1,996 points during his Duke career, 12th on the Blue Devils' all-time career scoring list.

The Utah Jazz drafted Allen with the 21st overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Since then, he has played for the Memphis Grizzlies, the Milwaukee Bucks and now the Phoenix Suns. While with the Grizzlies, Allen scored his career-high 40 points in an overtime loss against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Allen is married to former American soccer player Morgan Reid. The couple met at Duke, where Reid was a part of the college soccer team. After dating for a few years, the couple got married on July 23, 2022.
