Immanuel Quickley is a professional basketball player currently playing as an off-the-bench combo guard for the Toronto Raptors.

Born on July 17, 1999, Quickley was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the 25th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. He was subsequently traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves and then to the New York Knicks, in exchange for draft rights to Leandro Bolmaro. The Knicks signed Quickley to a four-year rookie deal, adding the promising young guard to their roster for the 2020-2021 season.

In high school, Quickley attended John Carroll School in Bel Air, Maryland where he averaged 17.7 points per game and led his team to an appearance in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference championship game. Quickley played college basketball for the University of Kentucky. As a freshman, he helped lead the Wildcats to the 2019 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight.

Since joining the Knicks, Quickley has been a reliable rotation player known for providing an offensive spark off the bench. As a rookie, he played in 64 games and put up 11.4 points per game on 36.1% three-point shooting. In his second NBA season, Quickley took on an expanded role, increasing his scoring average to 13.6 points in 66 appearances.

Now in his fourth NBA season, Quickley is an integral piece of Toronto's second unit. Quickly uses his crafty ball-handling ability and limitless shooting range to generate points consistently. In the 2023-2024, he is averaging 15.5 points in 26.2 minutes per contest, and averaging a career-high, solid 41% from three-point range, as of January 2024.

His long reach helps him snare rebounds in traffic despite not being the tallest player. It also enables Quickley to make crosscourt passes over defenses by extending his arms.

Quickley plays both point guard and shooting guard for the Toronto Raptors, also known as a combo guard.

His versatility to play either backcourt position provides value for the Knicks' rotation. As a point guard, Quickley can capably run the offense and create shots for others.
