Jaylin Williams is a professional basketball player who plays as a Center/power forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder as of May 2025. Williams' basketball journey started when he went to Northside High School in Arkansas, where he led his school to various state finals. He won the Class 6A State title and scored 20 points and 16 rebounds in the title game, and won the MVP. After averaging 18.7 points and 12.2 rebounds as a senior, Williams was named Arkansas Gatorade Player of the Year.

As a four-star recruit coming out of high school, Williams played two years of college basketball for the Arkansas Razorbacks. During his freshman year, he averaged 3.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. But during his sophomore year, he became a regular starter and averaged 10.9 points and 9.8 rebounds per game (via Sports Reference). As a sophomore, he led the Arkansas team in blocks, rebounds and was second in steals, taking his team to the Elite Eight. He was then named on the SEC All-Defensive Team and First-team All-SEC by the coaches. However, after just two years in college, Williams declared for the 2022 NBA draft and forgo his remaining college eligibility.

In the second season, Jaylin Williams was part of the team that reached the playoffs. However, the team fell short against the Dallas Mavericks in the semi-finals of the Western Conference. The 2024-25 season is the third season for Jaylin Williams, and he is averaging 5.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game in the season as of May 2025 (via Basketball Reference).

Also, Williams has recorded two triple doubles in the 2024-25 season. On March 19, 2025, Jaylin Williams recorded a career high of 19 points, 17 rebounds and 11 assists per game. The Oklahoma City Thunder has already reached the playoffs in the 2024-25 season, and Williams will be a key bench player for the team to lead the team to a deep playoff run.
