Joshua Aloiye Okogie was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 20th overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft. The veteran shooting guard has played for the Minnesota Timberwolves previously and presently the Phoenix Suns.

Throughout the 2022/23 season, he played 72 games with the Suns and averaged 7.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. He shot 39.1% from the field, including 33.5% from deep. He also plays for Team Nigeria at the international level.

Alongside Kevin Durant, he will be looking forward to having a good postseason run in the 2023/24 season.

Okogie enrolled at The Georgia Institute of Technology and played collegiate basketball for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He played for the 2016/17 season and the 2017/18 season. Throughout two seasons and 61 games, he averaged 16.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.8 blocks per game. He shot 43.7% from the field, including 38.2% from the deep end.

Okogie was a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team in 2017 and a member of the Third Team All-ACC in 2018. He then declared for the 2018 NBA draft, where he was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
