Kevin Durant, a 14-time NBA All-Star, plays for the Phoenix Suns as a power forward as of October 2024. He joined the Brooklyn Nets in 2019, but after a few arguments with the front office, he asked for a trade in 2023. He has won two NBA Finals consecutively in 2017 and 2018 with the Golden State Warriors. Further, he is also an Olympic gold medalist in 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024. He received four NBA scoring titles, two Finals MVP awards, two NBA All-Star Game MVP awards, the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, and 11 All-NBA selections. In the entire NBA history, he is the only player to win MVP awards in the NBA, World Cup, and the Olympics.

The Maryland native, Durant, was born on September 29, 1988. He attended National Christian Academy, Oak Hill Academy, and graduated from Montrone Christian School. He opted for the Texas Longhorns in 2006-07, following which he went for the 2007 NBA Draft. Durant was the second overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics (Oklahoma City Thunder). Since then, he has played with the Warriors (2016-19) and the Nets (2019-23).

Who are Kevin Durant’s siblings?

Kevin Durant has three siblings: his sister, Briana Pratt, and his brothers, Rayvonne Pratt and Tony Durant.

According to John Bankston's biography of Kevin Durant, the four kids have the same parents, Wayne Pratt and Wanda Durant. Wayne Pratt was in and out of the family during the early years of his older kids' lives. Wanda said to CBS News, “There were many nights that I didn’t know how we were going to make it.” She raised her children as a single mother, working at the post office.

Kevin Durant, a middle sibling, is three years younger than Anthony "Tony" Durant, who attended Butler C.C. and Towson University for two seasons (2007–08–2008–09), as per Heavy.com. Tony was "a junior college transfer in his first year on scholarship as a forward at Towson" in 2008, according to ESPN.

Tony told TripleMcDouble about the brothers' childhood, saying, “I grew up in Prince George’s County [Maryland]. Basketball is huge there. When I was a kid, my mom started taking my brother and I to the local rec center and that’s where we first developed a love for basketball." He told the site that he knew his brother would be a great player when he was in his early teens.
