Pascal Siakam is a Cameroonian professional basketball player signed with the Indiana Pacers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Nicknamed "Spicy P", Siakam was born on April 2, 1994, in Douala, Cameroon, to parents Tchamo and Victorie Siakam. He attended the St. Andrew's Seminary in Bafia.

He had very little interest in basketball as a child and attended a local camp for the first time in 2011. He gained attention for his apparent athleticism and extremely high energy level despite not being a player with almost no experience. Siakam committed to playing college basketball for the New Mexico State Aggies in 2013. He averaged 20.3 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks across 34 games in the 2015-2016 season, resulting in unanimous WAC Player of the Year honors.

Siakam was picked up by the Toronto Raptors with the 27th overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft. A great two-way player, Siakam scored his career-high 52 points on December 21, in a 113–106 win over the New York Knicks.

Siakam's biggest coup was winning the NBA championship with the Raptors in 2019. He subsequently agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $130 million with them. Siakam is a two-time NBA All-Star and has been selected once each to the All-NBA Second and All-NBA Third Team. He was also voted the NBA Most Improved Player in 2019.
