The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was born in Opelousas, Louisiana, but attended John and Randolph High School in Richmond, Texas after his family left for Houston, Texas following Hurricane Katrina’s destruction in his hometown. The Dallas Cowboys took him with the 17th overall pick from the 2020 NFL draft. A standout player since his school days, the 6 ft 2 wideout received All-State, Houston Touchdown Club’s Offensive Player of the Year, and the Houston Chronicle’s All-Greater Houston Football Offensive Player of the Year honors for his 2,032 receiving yards performance during his senior year. The former Consensus All-American committed to the University of Oklahoma and played for the Sooners from 2017-2019. In his 3 years with the team, he was first-team All-Big 12 once and Second-team All-Big once. Furthermore, he was also a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award. He concluded his collegiate career after racking up more than 3,600 total yards both on the ground and through the air along with 32 total touchdowns.

The three-time pro bowler has been as advertised since entering the league in 2020. The one-time First-team All-Pro has not missed a single game due to an injury or some other foreseen circumstances since putting on the Cowboys uniform. Since his sophomore campaign in 2021, the 2023 NFL receptions leader has never had a season without less than 1,100 receiving yards as of 2024. His best statistical season came in 2023 when he managed to put up career-best numbers across all offensive metrics from receptions (135) to receiving yards (1,749) to getting into the endzone (14 times). Lamb’s amazing play has earned him the respect among his peers as he has been voted in the NFL Top 100 every year since entering the NFL.
