Darius Jeavion Alexander is an American football defensive tackle who the New York Giants selected in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft with the 65th overall pick. He formerly represented the Toledo Rockets from 2019-2024. He was one of 329 prospects invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. At the NFL Scouting Combine, he ran a 4.95-second 40-yard dash, recorded a 31.5-inch vertical jump, and clocked in a 1.72-second 10-yard split. With a prospect grade of 6.17, he is projected as a good backup with the potential to develop into a starter at the next level. His Next Gen Stats score of 77 falls into the "good" category. Darius Alexander signed with the University of Toledo in 2019 and played for them until the end of the 2024 season. His six-year collegiate tenure saw him appear in 58 games, recording 127 tackles (solo 45), 23 tackles for loss, and nine sacks, as per Sports Reference. Alexander redshirted as a freshman at Toledo in 2019, and he became a full-time starter in 2023. Alexander was a third-team All-Mid-American Conference and a second-team ALL-MAC honoree in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, respectively.
