John Franklin-Myers is an American football defensive end for the Denver Broncos as of the 2024 NFL season. The Los Angeles Rams selected him as the 135th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Before joining the Broncos, he played his rookie season with the Los Angeles Rams in 2018, followed by a five-season stint with the New York Jets from 2019 to 2023. In 2024, he was traded to the Broncos and subsequently signed a restructured two-year contract extension with the team valued at $15 million.

Before entering the NFL in 2018, Franklin-Myers played college football for Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks from 2014 to 2017. Over his four seasons at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA), he recorded a total of 130 tackles, forced five fumbles and had 22 quarterback hurries in his career., as per his college website Franklin-Myers was born in Los Angeles, California, and later went to Greenville High School in Greenville, Texas, where he started as a defensive end for three years.
