Justin Jefferson attended high school at Destrehan High School. He was a 3-star prospect and was ranked as the 308th-best wide receiver in the country. He pursued his journey in football by committing to Louisiana State University (LSU). It was at this point that Jefferson truly began to emerge as a recognizable receiver in the country. The team had a historical season in 2019, with Jefferson recording 111 receptions and 18 touchdown receptions. His 111 receptions were the most by any receiver across the country.
