Mike Gesicki is a talented tight end who plays for the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL. Born in New Jersey, Gesicki has been involved in various sports like basketball, volleyball and football, but he selected football for his career at the Southern Regional High School. Finding himself on the high school football team, Gesicki was the Rams' all-time leading receiver with 1,817 receiving yards from 103 receptions. After his outstanding play at the school, Gesicki enrolled at Penn State Nittany Lions. From 2014 to 2017, he played for the Nittany Lions and improved his performance every year, especially in 2016 where he scored touchdowns in the team's final three games. In 2017, Gesicki was named to the John Mackey Award watchlist.

In the 2018 NFL Draft, Gesicki was selected as a second-round pick by the Miami Dolphins. In 2019, he quickly made an impact by scoring 51 catches, 570 yards, and five touchdowns. Whereas, in the following season, he achieved his first 100-yard receiving game in the NFL against the Buffalo Bills. After five seasons with the Dolphins, Gesicki signed with the New England Patriots on a 1-year deal. Gesicki was then signed by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2024 under a one-year deal. Overall, Gesicki has been a great target and has been well-received by his teammates.
