All things considered, the week 11 NFL schedule has a plethora of elite QB battles plastered all over it. As usual, 12 out of 14 games played during the week will be on Sunday with four teams getting rest on their BYE week.

Games on Sunday, November 17

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

This will be the first matchup between Jordan Love and Caleb Williams. The Packers have got their QB for the future in Love while the Bears have been searching for one since Sid Luckman's days. Since Brett Favre’s first season in Green Bay, Titletown has seen only 3 QBs start for the team. On the other hand, Chicago has seen more than 30 quarterbacks take snaps under center for them in that same time span.

In the Bears’ 104-year history, they have never had a single QB who threw for 4k yards while Jordan Love passed for 4,159 yards in his first full season as a starter last year. If Caleb Williams looks average in this game while Love gets a 3-0 record against the Bears, all hell is gonna break loose in Chicago. This is a must-win game for Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears if they want to come out from the shadows of the Packers who have owned them since the early 1990s.

Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers

For all the accolades that Lamar Jackson has received, there is one team he can’t figure out in his whole career. The two-time MVP has a dreaded 2-4 record against Mike Tomlin’s squad. The Ravens with Jackson under center have not beaten the Steelers since 2019.

If Lamar and Baltimore want to come out on top in Pittsburgh, they will need to score at least a couple of touchdowns as the current Steelers have rebranded their offense since last season. The Steelers have not only added Russell Wilson and Justin Fields to their QB room but will also feature a new OC in Arthur Smith. On the flip side, the Ravens will be without their star DC Mike Macdonald under whose mentorship they were able to form an elite defense last year.

Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills

Fireworks are bound to happen when Josh Allen goes up against Patrick Mahomes at Highmark Stadium in a late afternoon game on Sunday. Both teams are Super Bowl contenders with Mahomes 4-3 in his career against Josh Allen. However, what will come as a shock to many is that Allen has a 3-1 record against Mahomes-led Chiefs in the regular season.

As good as Mahomes is in the postseason against the Bills, Sean McDermott and company have his numbers in the regular season. This game late in November might have playoff-seeding implications. Kansas City is pretty much the same as last year while the Bills have moved on from star wide receiver Stefon Diggs. On the coaching front, the Bills promoted Joe Brady to full-time offensive coordinator in the offseason after they made him their interim OC in November 2023.

Cincinnati Bengals at Los Angeles Chargers

The Bengals-Chargers game will be another high-octane afternoon slot game on week 11 NFL schedule between two quarterbacks taken from the 2020 draft. The Bengals would once again be a Super Bowl contender with Joe Burrow being healthy. The Justin Herbert-led Chargers will be entering a new era under Jim Harbaugh. The last time the two of them met, Herbert came out on the top with an impressive victory. However, this time around, Burrow and his boys would be ready to give a tough matchup. This game may lack many key pieces like Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Jessie Bates and Tyler Boyd on the field. Along with players, there are also some big changes on the coaching side since the last time they met. Joe Burrow’s will be without his longtime offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, who left for Nashville for a head coaching gig. Herbert also has a whole new coaching staff from HC to OC.
