About NFL Week 15 Schedule 2024-25

NFL Schedule 2024-25 Week 15
The Los Angeles Rams take on the San Francisco 49ers in week 15

With the NFL schedule week 15 out, we have many more exciting games to look forward to. As the regular season starts to reach its climax, there will be a lot of permutations and combinations going on to figure out which teams will make the playoffs. Week 15 results will see teams jostling up and down the order depending upon the results.

As the race for the final playoff spots starts to heat up, each game will not just have an impact on those teams but on others as well. It is now time to make the final push and keep the pedal on the metal.

Game on Thursday, December 12

Los Angeles Rams @ San Francisco 49ers

Week 15 starts with a bang as NFC West rivals Los Angeles Rams make the short trip to take on the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium. With two big teams going at it, this game should be fun to watch. The game may have a greater impact on the divisional standings as well.

The Rams have had a few good seasons as of late and have even won a Super Bowl a couple of seasons ago. On the other hand, the 49ers have always remained in the hunt for another Lombardi Trophy and have just fallen short on a couple of occasions.

Games on Sunday, December 15

Miami Dolphins @ Houston Texans

The week 15 NFL schedule starts the Sunday afternoon slate of games with the Miami Dolphins visiting the Houston Texans in an all-AFC matchup. Despite both teams being in different divisions, this is an important game as the Dolphins and Texans are heavily favored to make the playoffs again in the 2024 season.

The Dolphins have great weapons on the offense and are capable of spreading the opposition’s defense with their raw pace. Tua Tagovailoa had an outstanding season in 2023 and will now look to capitalize further this year. As for the Texans, C.J. Stroud had an amazing rookie year and will now get the added services of Stefon Diggs to throw the ball to.

Buffalo Bills @ Detroit Lions

The Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions are two of the stronger teams in the league with the Bills winning the AFC East four seasons in a row and the Lions taking the NFC North by storm in 2023. Josh Allen has grown into the Bills system and although he has lost his two best receivers, the team as a whole is still quite capable. As for the Lions, they have done well to keep all the important pieces together and should be a force to reckon with once again.

Green Bay Packers @ Seattle Seahawks

Sunday Night Football (SNF) in week 15 brings us a top-notch matchup between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks. These are two NFC playoff-contending teams who need to take this game seriously as the race to the playoffs draws to a close.

The Packers’ signal-caller Jordan Love looked good towards the end of last season. He even led the team to a playoff victory over the Dallas Cowboys, shocking most fans of the NFL. The Seahawks though won’t make it easy, but they would need a big game on both sides of the ball.

Game on Monday, December 16

As per the week 15 NFL schedule, there are two games on Monday Night Football (MNF). The first game will be the Chicago Bears against the Minnesota Vikings on ABC while the second game will feature the Atlanta Falcons taking on the Las Vegas Raiders.

Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings

The MNF match between the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings should be a great one as both NFC North teams battle it out. While it is difficult to tell how both these teams will look by week 15, one thing is for sure, the NFC North has a lot of competition this season. Additionally, should J.J. McCarthy be the starter at quarterback for the Vikings, then it could be fun to watch him go against fellow rookie Caleb Williams.
