Alexandrova made her WTA singles debut at the Katowice Open in 2016 and made her grand slam debut at the Wimbledon Championships in 2016. She has won four WTA singles titles in her career so far, her first title coming at the Shenzhen Open in 2020, where she defeated Elena Rybakina in the final.
