Joel Varughese is a WWE news writer in Sportskeeda. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture but always had a penchant for writing. Before landing his current job, he worked as an independent writer for almost five years, during which he was involved in screenwriting and copy/content writing.

Varughese is an avid fan of pro wrestling, with his knowledge coming from hours of watching the entertainment sport from a young age. His favorite is Shawn Michaels, but if he could go back in time to The Attitude Era he would like to manage Chris Jericho and advise him to cut his hair and portray a character similar to Javier Bardem in “No Country For Old Men,” something which Jericho later pulled off in 2008.

Besides Michaels, Joel is also a fan of Eddie Guerrero, Randy Orton, Edge, CM Punk, and Brock Lesnar. His current favorites are Roman Reigns, Gunther, and Drew McIntyre.

When not following pro wrestling, Joel can be found designing buildings, auditioning for parts in films, working out to keep himself fit, or spending quality time with his family watching movies on the weekends.
