Jade Buford will compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the remainder of the 2024 season with Mike Harmon Racing, as announced by the team on Friday (May 17).

Buford, who has a rich history in sports car racing, will get behind the wheel of the #74 Chevrolet Camaro entry for the remaining season. His first race will be at the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Xfinity Series race Memorial Day weekend on Saturday (May 25).

“We are pleased to have Buford in the No. 74 Chevrolet Camaro during the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Charlotte and throughout the season. Buford brings lots of experience on the oval and road courses and will be a great strength for us.

If Jade Buford qualifies for the Charlotte race, it will be his first start in the series since the Talladega Superspeedway race in 2023.

Buford made his NASCAR Xfinity debut at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with SS-Green Light Racing in 2020, where he finished 14th.

He also has 45 starts in the Xfinity Series, with three top-10 finishes. His best finish of P8 came twice at Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Circuit of the Americas.
