Rafael Nadal showed he is back on top form after winning his ninth Italian Open title with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-1 victory over Novak Djokovic on Sunday.
The trophy is more important than beating his arch rival, declared Nadal in his post-match press conference, as he heads into the French Open as firm favourite to clinch his 12th title at Roland Garros.
