On Thursday night, LeBron James and the LA Lakers attempted to take down the Denver Nuggets on their home floor. Following the matchup, one analyst shared his thoughts on D'Angelo Russell's actions.

Lakers' fans were letting Russell hear it during Game 3 after he went scoreless in 24 minutes of action. The former All-Star did not take well to being benched amid his struggles, as he opted not to join the team during a huddle.

While on ESPN's "First Take," Stephen A Smith opened up on Russell opting not to join the Lakers during a team huddle. He feels that LeBron James doesn't deserve a teammate that acts in such a manner.

"LeBron James doesn't deserve a teammate like that," Stephen A said. "Somebody like that that's not that prioritized, not that focused. Get rid of him."

LeBron and Anthony Davis combined for 59 points in Game 3, but it was not enough to get the Lakers over the hump. Nikola Jokic nearly notched a triple-double as the Nuggets won by a final score of 112-105 to go up 3-0 in the series.

LeBron James praises Denver Nuggets following Game 3 loss

Over the past few years, the LA Lakers have struggled greatly against the Denver Nuggets. Game three marked the 11th game in a row that the regining champs won against LeBron James and company.

During his postgame media availability, LeBron had nothing but praise for his competitors. He feels the Nuggets are a team with no weaknesses on the offensive end of the floor.

"This team is definitely well euipped, well prepared," LeBron said. "They do not have a weaknees offensively.

They've been one of the best starting fives in our league over the past couple of years."

LeBron's comments on the Nuggets' lineup has been on full display in this series. While Nikola Jokic has been nothing short of dominant, they've gotten production up and down the roster.

Jamal Murray was the hero in Game 2, hitting the game-winning shot over Anthony Davis. In Game 3, Aaron Gordon delivered a big outing wiht 29 points and 15 rebounds.

Production from the supporting cast has been a major difference in this series. LeBron and AD are leading the charge, but are getting minimal help from those around them.

Austin Reaves had a strong showing in Game 3 with 22 points, but five of the eight players to record minutes scored eight points or less. If LA wants any shot at being competitive with Denver, they'll need more from the role players.

Now down 3-0, LeBron and the Laker are starting elimination in the face. They'll look to stay alive on Saturday night as they take the floor in Game 4.
