With just 76 career games played, Cade Cunningham has shown plenty of flashes of the potential that made him the first overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Off the court, the Detroit Pistons point guard is reportedly dating Nikia Withers.

Withers is an Instagram influencer with nearly 100,000 followers. She is reportedly the half sister of Green Bay Packers tight end Marcedes Lewis. Withers attended the University of Southern California where she played college volleyball and majored in law, history, and culture, according to her player profile on the school's website. She is 26, making her five years older than Cunningham.

Withers has previously been linked with NBA stars Klay Thompson and D'Angelo Russell. She also dated former NFL player Cayleb Jones, who was arrested for his role in a domestic violence incident in which she was involved. Withers filed charges and also released video footage of Jones allegedly attacking her.

It's unclear how Withers and Cunningham met or when they began dating, but they have been linked with each other for over a year. Cunningham has a daughter, Riley, from a previous relationship, who was born in 2018 when Cunningham was a senior in high school.

When is Cade Cunningham expected to return from injury?

Cade Cunningham has had a strong start to his career, but has had to deal with injuries in his first two seasons. He missed 18 games of his rookie season and has missed 17 games thus far in his second season.

While he has been on the court, Cunningham has been dynamic. As a rookie, he averaged 17.4 points per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, 5.6 assists per game, 1.2 steals per game and 0.7 blocks per game. Through 12 games this season, Cunningham has averaged 19.9 points per game, 6.2 rebounds per game, 6.0 assists per game, 0.8 steals per game, and 0.6 blocks per game.

While he has struggled with efficiency, shooting just 41.6% from the field and 30.9% from the 3-point range in his career, Cunningham's production is difficult to overlook. His battles with injuries, though, have been just as noticeable.

Cunningham has not played in over a month and currently does not have a timetable for his return. While he appears to have avoided surgery, which was reportedly on the table, the Detroit Pistons point guard does not appear to be close to returning to action.
