Looks like Roy Hodgson’s England will not be having it easy in Brazil. Having placed in the group of death after the recent World cup draws for the World Cup 2014 in Brazil, another problem seems to have arisen for the England national football team. This time it is the diseases.

Brazil known for it’s dangerous diseases including yellow fever and typhoid will have it’s effects on England players. It is told that the humid weather in tropical rainforests of Brazil is not suitable for the Englishmen as they have not experienced such adverse climate effects earlier. Before landing in Brazil, the England football team will have to undergo a number of vaccinations for yellow fever, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and many more.

As per The Guardian, England players will face an uphill task from day 1 itself as they will be facing Italy in the Amazon Arena in Manaus. The stadium is said to be covered by forests which will be the main reason for the blood sucking monsters “Mosquitoes” to add up to the trouble. It is said that all the England players will be given anti-malarial drugs in order to prevent them from malaria. The medical and nutritional needs of the England team will also be looked upon by the England FA. Roy Hodgson also said that Reddin, who helped the England’s rugby union team win in 2003, will be there to help the players to be physically and mentally ready to face challenges they will be facing in Brazil.

England will have it’s first match against Italy who have already visited Brazil during the Confederation Cup. They will be having the upper hand as they will know the conditions they will be playing in and also know how to adapt to the humid climate.

According to Dailymail, Roy Hodgson has also suggested that youngsters of the England football team will be able to handle the humid climate of Brazil. Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Adam Lallana might be in England’s first team and may also lead to benching of England veterans such as Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard. Andros Townsend has already impressed Roy Hodgson by scoring a goal and creating one for England against Montenegro in the World Cup Qualifiers.

Nothing can be said as of know, whether England will make it through the group of death or will they emerge champions of the World Cup 14. It all depends on Roy Hodgson’s men conquer the climate and all other factors and stand up in the World cup 2014.
