Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard was threatened by a crazy fan who screamed abusive comments including threats against the skipper and his family.
The incident took place when Gerrard was practicing free-kicks with team-mate Philippe Coutinho at Liverpool‘s Melwood training ground.
Gerrard, who initially ignored the abuse from the unnamed male, was forced to react when the comments became personal. The fan shouted that he will kill Gerrard and his kids and also said that he will burn down the player’s house.
The Liverpool legend was held back by assistant manager Colin Pascoe, when he went to confront the man. However, kit manager, Lee Radcliffe ran from the field to intercept the male who fled on his bicycle shouting that he will kill Gerrard’s kids.
