Louis Van Gaal calls on Manchester United to be more clinical

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal admitted it was the same old story for his side despite earning a 1-1 draw against unbeaten Chelsea at Old Trafford.

Didier Drogba scored his first Premier League goal since his return to Chelsea but a dramatic 94th-minute equaliser from Robin van Persie earned United a point.

The Dutchman was unhappy that his side failed to make the most of their earlier dominance and felt they had to be more clinical in front of goal.

“We created a lot but we didn’t finish our chances and Chelsea scored the first goal.

He also credited his players for showing the fight to keep going until the final minute as they grabbed a share of the spoils.

“We are showing that we are believing in a goal until the end, despite the result being bad.

“Also against West Brom, despite creating many chances, we fell 2-1 behind to them and one goal behind today, then it’s fantastic that players are running until the end to equalise.”
