Manchester United fans on X have slammed Sofyan Amrabat after he had a poor performance in their 2-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion. The Red Devils ended their season on a high in their final game at the Falmer Stadium on Sunday, May 19.

Brighton dominated the first half and the start of the second but were unable to make the most of any of their chances. Manchester United rode their luck at times with Casemiro making a notable goal-line clearance in the 51st minute.

The Red Devils broke the deadlock against the run of play in the 73rd minute after Diogo Dalot found the bottom corner with a good finish. Rasmus Hojlund doubled their advantage 15 minutes later with a stellar effort following a quick one-two with Christian Eriksen to seal a 2-0 win for the visitors.

Amrabat made his third league start in a row in midfield but was unable to influence the game. He was dispossessed thrice, won zero tackles, and lost four duels before being replaced by Raphael Varane in the 69th minute. The 27-year-old loanee from Fiorentina has largely been disappointing this season in his 30 appearances and is expected to return to Serie A this summer.
