The Englishman has been regarded as one of the best left backs in the country with stellar consistent performances year after year for his club Everton. The defender has a lethal left foot, which sees him get his fair share of goals and assists every season. He has already scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists this campaign in all competitions.

Red Devils left back Patrice Evra is in the twilight of his career, and news boss David Moyes considers Baines to be his ideal replacement once the Frenchman decides to hang up his boots.

David Moyes will be a firm favourite to land the in-demand 29-year old, who he has worked closely with during his 10 years managerial stint at Everton. However, they may face stiff resistance from the likes of Chelsea, who are rumoured to be interested in the Merseyside star.
