Manchester United manager David Moyes is considering offloading star striker Robin van Persie in the summer due to his poor attitude, according to the Metro.

The Dutch striker is apparently considering his own future after a dismal season under David Moyes, compounded by their lacklustre defeat to Olympiakos in the Champions League.

The news would come as a huge blow to United fans who have a strong admiration for the striker after his goals secured their 20th Premier League title last season.

However, that was under Sir Alex Ferguson and Moyes seems to be struggling to cope the Dutchman’s attitude on a weekly basis, especially after he recently hit out at his teammates for getting in his way on the pitch.

Moyes is believed to be hugely disappointed with van Persie’s comments to foreign television stations, where he also hinted that Moyes could be the problem behind the club’s terrible form.

They are expected to sit down at the end of the season and discuss the future, but it seems unlikely that van Persie will remain at Manchester United next season.

Despite his troubles this season, van Persie is the club’s top scorer in the league with 11 goals.
