Rumour: Mario Balotelli has been transfer-listed

Down! but not out..

Reports from Italy suggest controversial striker Mario Balotelli has been transfer-listed by AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi. The mercurial forward has been made avialable for sale in January, with Italian newpaper Il Secolo XIX suggesting that the Serie A giants have simply ‘had enough’ with the former Mancheter City man.

‘”I’ve had enough and the decision is made. Mario is officially on the market and we need to sell him before the end of January,” Il Secolo XIX report Berlusconi to have said.

23-year-old Balotelli joined Milan last January from Manchester City and has scored 8 goals in 17 appearances this term.

But with Allegri’s men struggling this season, with just four Serie A wins to their name, it appears the president may be looking to make some major changes when the transfer window opens next week.

Interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham has been reported.
