• Dortmund are in 2nd place, one point behind Bayern and the team is in good form. They have constantly dropped points in the Bundesliga after Champions League games though and need to be at 100% this time.
• Schalke are 8 points behind Dortmund and need a home win here to maintain the pace with their rivals. They have done well on the attack lately, but need to improve their defensive organisation.
• Expect this “Revier-Derby” to be an intense game with both teams fighting hard to get the three points.
