The sensational stats which won Cristiano Ronaldo the Ballon d’Or

Real Madrid attacker Cristiano Ronaldo picked up the Ballon D’or for 2013 last night, ending the four year winning streak of Barcelona‘sLionel Messi and pushing Bayern Munich‘s Franck Ribery into third place.

Sixty-Nine – The number of goals scored by Ronaldo in 2013 for Real Madrid and Portugal – more than the totals of rivals Ribery and Messi combined

Three - Ronaldo won the award by a margin of just 3.27%. He scored 27.99% of the vote, whilst Messi recorded 24,72% and Ribéry 23,36 %.
