Day 4 has been great for India with Punam Yadav winning a gold in Weightlifting & Mery Kom securing a Bronze for herself in Boxing. India also beat the strong England team in women's hockey 2-1 coming back from 1 goal behind. The Women's 10m Air Pistol participants, India's Manu Bhaker & Heena Sidhu bagging a Gold medal and Silver medal respectively.The Indian Women's Table Tennis contingent also doing well defeating England 3-0 earlier in the day and moving on to the Gold medal match where they will be facing Singapore. India's Vikas Thakur also made India proud winning a bronze medal in the Men's 94kg category in Weightlifting. A total of 5 medals won until now.

The Women's 10km Scratch Race Finals will see India's Monorama Devi Tongbram & Sonali Mayanglambam. They will be trying to go for the top spot along with 22 other cyclists. Monorama is just 22-years-old & Sonali Mayanglambam is also just 21 years of age. Both of the cyclists hail from the state of Manipur. They will be looking for a podium finish as this is their last event and also the last day of cycling.
