During the New England Patriots' 33-26 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Thanksgiving, tight end Hunter Henry was robbed of a potential touchdown.

On third-and-goal play from the 6-yard line, quarterback Mac Jones threw a pass to Henry who had both hands on the ball as he lunged toward the goal line. As Henry went to the ground with the ball, he bobbled it, losing control of it, and the refs called it an incomplete pass.

Many responded to the controversial call on social media, with mixed opinions on the play. Former NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant tweeted that there's no way that pass was incomplete.

After the game, Henry was himself asked by local reporters if he thought he caught the ball and he answered in the affirmative.

"I believe I caught it. He said it hit the ground. But I believe my hand was under the ball. The hand was under the ball, with hitting the ground, that's what kind of caused it to jump up. They made the call. Just got to live with it."

Henry finished the game with three receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown. He would have finished the game with two touchdowns if the refs ruled his no-catch a touchdown. That proved to be costly.

Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant knows a thing or two about getting called for a no-catch.

During the Dallas Cowboys’ divisional playoff game in 2014 against the Green Bay Packers, Bryant made a key catch on 4th-and-2. The Cowboys were trailing the Packers 26-21 with over four minutes left in the game at the time.

As Dez reached the ball out for more yardage, he bobbled it and lost control, resulting in the refs declaring it a no-catch.

The Dez no-catch call sparked a big conversation about what really is a catch. Even after all these years, there isn't 100 percent clarity in certain circumstances.
