Jalen Ramsey and Golden Tate found themselves in a scuffle in a 2020 NFL matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants. Bad blood between the two players began ahead of their Week Four matchup. Ramsey has two children with Breanna Tate, Tate's sister. He reportedly ended their relationship when Breanna was pregnant in 2019.

He talked about the situation and how others feel entitled to know about the personal affairs of NFL players.

“We live in a society where ignorant people feel that they are owed an explanation of what goes on in our day-to-day lives … and why we make the decisions we make … we don’t have to answer to anyone but the man above. Sh-t is beyond overrated.”

The Giants wide receiver talked about how the Rams cornerback disrespected his sister before the game:

“I’m not happy at all with the disrespect that he’s shown towards my sister, and the things he’s done in the past, but I don’t really want to go too much into it."

As for the game, the Rams would go on to defeat the Giants by a score of 17 - 9, but that wasn't the biggest takeaway in that matchup. In the second half, both Jalen Ramsey and Golden Tate had to be pulled apart by their respective teammates.

The Rams star delivered a big-time hit on the Giants wideout prior to their brawl in the game.

Tate had four receptions for 12 yards as Ramsey made four tackles in the game. It was the Rams' third win of the season while the Giants lost their fourth straight.

Not the first time Jalen Ramsey ignited the ire of an NFL WR

Jalen Ramsey found himself going after another wideout prior to Tate in Cincinnati Bengals star AJ Green. Ramsey was a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars when he called out Green for his play during the Jaguars-Bengals matchup in the 2017 season.

Ramsey said:

“I told him almost every play that he was weak, that he was soft. Those are straight facts. He just can’t handle the truth. It’s facts. I told him his time was almost up. I told him that it was easy, which it was. He had one catch for six yards. I was just out there spitting facts to him. He got mad.”

Both Jalen Ramsey and Green were ejected from the game as a result of a brawl that took place in the first half. The Jaguars would win the game with a 23 - 7 score over the Bengals.
