Championship Information

1. The IJO is a WSF, ASF & SRFI Junior Circuit event organised by the Squash RacketsFederation of India, conducted by the Tamil Nadu Squash Rackets Association.Participants will receive WSF ranking points (under 19), ASF ranking points (all categories)& SRFI ranking points (4 star) for all Indian players. 4. Age Categories: There will be 10 categories – Boys & Girls under 11, 13, 15, 17 & 19.A player can enter in only one age category.

5. Age Cut-off Date: August 31, 2012

6. Eligibility: The tournament is open to all juniors of any nationality. All foreign player entriesmust be endorsed by their respective National Association. Indian entries must be sentthrough its affiliated/associated members.

The hotel has given a special rate for all participants / officials / supporters at Rs. 2,500 perhead per day (Rs. 5,000 per room) on a twin sharing basis (about US$90 per day). Thoseinterested in triple sharing may do so at 2,000 per head per day (Rs. 6,000 per room). Theabove cost includes all meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) at the hotel, shuttle bus servicebetween the hotel and venue and airport transfers. All hotel bookings must be made directly with the hotel before 1 August 2012.There will be no meals and transfers for players who do not stay at the Hotel Courtyard byMarriott.

8. Entry fee: An entry fee of Rs. 1,000 would be required to be paid by all foreign participants and Rs. 500for all Indians prior to their first match.

9. Scoring & Format: All matches will be played to the best of 5 games, 11 points – PAR (Point-A-Rally). WSFrules of the World Singles Game will be applied throughout the tournament. Format of each division will be decided by the SRFI depending on the number of entries. Players will be expected to play two matches a day.

10. Protective Eye Wear: Wearing of Protective Eye Wear is Mandatory. They must bemanufactured to an appropriate national standard and worn properly over the eyes at alltimes during competition play.

11. Foreign Currency Exchange The currency of India is Rupees (INR), the approximate prevailing rate is USD 1.00 = INR 57

12. Entry Submission: All entries MUST be submitted using the official entry form.Only entries duly endorsed by the respective National Squash Association shall be accepted.Passport details of all foreigners must be submitted. Indian entries must be sent through itsaffiliated / associated members.The completed entry form must be returned by email to [email protected] &[email protected]
