Kuwait Open - Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad Cup

Abdullah Al Muzayen defeated Omar Abdel Meguid in the final of the Kuwait Open Challenger (Cup Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad) a PSA World Tour Challenger 10 squash event at the South Surrah Ministries Complex in Kuwait City.

The semi final fourth seed Harinder Pal Sandhu prevailed in a first game tie-break to open up an early lead. Meguid, ranked almost 50 places higher, reasserted his authority on the match to take the next two games for the loss of just eight points. The fourth also went into extra points, but after 71 minutes it was second-seeded Egyptian Meguid who triumphed 10-12, 11-4, 11-4, 13-11.
