Ferrari is reportedly ready to offer Adrian Newey a major offer amidst reports of him leaving Red Bull emerge.

According to reports, Adrian Newey is preparing to leave Red Bull, and analysts cite the reason surrounding team principal Christian Horner's recent controversy. With the aero wizard possibly leaving the team, it could be a jackpot for the current front runners to have him work with them. His efficiency in car aerodynamics is unmatched and is a major reason for Red Bull's dominant cars in recent seasons.

Ferrari has emerged as a top choice for him, and according to Italian publication Formu1a.uno, Maranello is also prepared to propose a huge offer of over 50% of the earnings. However, there is a catch to this offer: F1 will follow the new regulations from the 2026 season and must sign with a new team before that to make the most out of the new regulations.

As per Formu1a.uno, if Newey leaves Red Bull after 2026, he would not be able to bring significant changes to the other teams' challengers. So, Adrian Newey moving to the Maranello outfit is a possibility if he switches in the next F1 season.

Lewis Hamilton will move to Ferrari in the 2025 season, as it was announced in February. Earlier this season, he was asked about Adrian Newey moving to the team as well, to which he gave an interesting response.

Engineers from other teams have also been invited to the Italian outfit after Lewis Hamilton's signing. This includes Loic Serra, who recently began his gardening leave ahead of moving to the Scuderia.

Speaking during the Saudi Arabian GP weekend earlier this season, the 39-year-old was also asked about Adrian Newey moving to Ferrari. While he did not give a definite answer, he did not rule out the possibility of the move. He said:

"I think my move has shown that anything’s possible and it’s going to be a really interesting next six months or so," GPFans quoted Hamilton.
"Having worked within the team, I know obviously Adrian gets all the praise for everybody’s work. I know he’s a huge part of it, of course, but I know there’s so many engineers in the background that are a huge part of developing the team and the car that they have and it’s not down to one person."
"So it’s not my decision. I’m competing against him this year at the moment, so I can’t really talk about next year so far just yet."

None of the reports are confirmed by any teams as of now. Currently, Red Bull leads both the drivers and the constructors' world championships, while Ferrari follows them in second place.
